Pohela Boishakh is organized in our college every year in a very beautiful way. And dance, song, drama etc. many things. There are names of 12-membered zodiac constellations such as Prashana, Baisakh, Jaishtha, Asadha, Shrab etc. There is a full moon once every month. It is named after the principle that a moon in each Sahapurnima occupies a star in the zodiac. The month we call Boishakh, Purnima Moon is in Visakha Nakshatra. The name of the month is Baisakh. [1] The first month of Bengal is Boishakh. So the whole Bengali society is excitedly celebrating the first day of Baisakh as Pala Boishakh New Year.
